The Free-Kick nº1 Specialist

By: Marco P. | November 20th, 2008

.

Of course, everyone here knows it :] , but it’s nice to see others recognize it as well.

In the latest Goal.com POLL (International Best Free-Kick Taker), ADP bested heavy hitters such as Nakamura, Juninho Pernambucano, and Cristiano Ronaldo. His recent free-kick taking excellence might have something to do with it of course, but it’s only a rightful recognition for someone who’s been a dead ball specialist for over a decade.

I doubt ADP could score two free kicks in one game from 40 meters out, especially against RMCF in the Champions league.

Yes Pernambucano, no one here has heard “ADP”, “free-kick”, and “Real Madrid” in the same sentence before.

I agree with Pernambucano. ADP’s no match for Juni.

yea that goal.com “poll” was hilarious. I found it very entertaining tha Nakamura ( a good fk specialist in his own right ) would top Juninho Pernambucano ( who is in my opinion, The King of Free Kicks )

But ADP is pretty good to.

Oh dear, no debate please. What makes a player the best? If it’s being the most consistent, Juninho wins (well not this season though). Everyone has their own unique “touch” so it’s annoying to compare because in a way everyone is so different.

Pern & OL, you guys are just haters. When’s the last time Juninho scored a decent free-kick? He was great during that one season, but so was Sinisa Mihaijlovic until he became garbage.

Just accept that ADP is the king of FK’s at this moment.

You know these sorta annoying “Pernambucano” “Samba” and “OL” posts above me, that was my younger brother. He hacked into my computer and started posting stuff on this site. Sorry Marco. I don’t even know why he posted some of them.

I said a decent free-kick OL. Not one with a garbage shot through an open defensive wall, and an incompetent goalkeeper.

    Try again.
